Kindness Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1 Pinch of kindness

• 1 Handful of respect

• ½ cup of friendship

• 1 Tbsp of manners

• ¼ cup of encouragement

• ½ cup of honesty

• 1 Tsp of Generosity 

• 1 Tbsp of Support

Instructions:

1. Gather all the ingredients shown above.

2. Put all the encouragement, generosity, support, respect and friendship in a large bowl and stir till light and sticky.

3. Once mixed through, carefully pour in honesty.

4. Mix slowly till light and fluffy.

5. Next place in an oven tray to bake at 150C for 45 mins.

6. After 45 mins in the oven place on a cooling tray.

7. When cool sprinkle kindness and manners on top.

8. Hope you enjoy your baking.

How to Make a Stress Ball

 You will need:

• funnel

• balloon 

• flour

Step 1:

You need to insert the funnel into the balloon. Get someone to hold the balloon.

Step 2:

Pour the flour into the balloon through the funnel with that person still holding the balloon.

Step 3:

tie the balloon.

Now you have a stress ball.

If you would like your stress ball to be made from rice put rice in instead of flour.

This text will be telling you how and why popcorn pops.

Popcorn has a very different shell to normal corn. Popcorn has a hard shell which is called a hull where normal corn has a softshell. A popcorn kernel pops from the pressure that builds up in the hull But for this to happen you have to heat it up in the microwave, pan or popcorn maker. This pressure is made up of all the moisture being heated. When there is moisture in the kernel and it gets heated up the moisture turns into steam. When enough steam builds up the kernel goes pop!. It pops because there is nowhere for the steam to go. It has to escape so it breaks through the hull (shell). When it goes pop! all the white stuff explodes out. now there's some ready to eat popcorn kernels.

All that white stuff is starch that the kernel eats.

The shoemaker owns a small shop on a busy street. It seems he has been working and establishing the business for a long time now. The little shoemaker is very experienced at his job and only sells shoes he made. He is short and old and his shoes are his prized possession.

All the shoes are quite old fashion and unique. All of the shoes are kept squeaky clean. All of them are displayed at the large shop window to catch the customers eyes. The shoes he made had a life of their own. They slept and even moved by themselves. They were all different colours and styles, that meant they had different attitudes as well.

1. First, you need to find a hard wall(not glass).

2. Once you have found you’re wall you need to lay your back flat on it as if you were sitting in a real chair.

3. When you’ve got your back on the wall spread your feet 30cm apart and keep your feet approximately 30cm from the wall your leaning on. 

4. Rest your arms on your lap and hold your position.

You can do this as much as you like and for as long as you like.

Water is a substance that can be a solid, liquid or gas. All of those states are matter. The solid is Ice (Frozen Water.) The liquid is water (The water we drink) The gas is water vapour (The steam that comes out of a boiling pot.)

The particles in these substances are all different. the particles in the liquid (water) are separated and can move anywhere. With the solid (ice) particles are thick and stuck together in an organised group. With the gas (water vapour) there are not many particles and they have a large space between them and are not in an organised group.

In this animation, two brothers are separated by musical differences. To start the animation, the two boys are sitting in front of a piano. One of the brothers decides to play classical music copying from the notes the piano teacher has given them. But the other brother ignores the notes and plays some funky modern music which the strict piano teacher disliked. 

The monkey that played the funky music got sent out of the room and was no longer allowed to play.

At the present day, the brother who got told not to play the piano is now a cleaner at the piano theatre where his brother is going to play his music. When the cleaner was backstage he could hear his brother playing his classical music. But then the cleaner that was not allowed to play noticed a piano backstage. He then started to play his funky music on the other piano. The other cleaner then started to raise the theatre’s curtains so the strict, mean and forceful piano teacher could see what was happening. 

Then the other brother that was playing classical joined in with playing the funky music. The piano teacher got very angry and annoyed that she strutted off stage disappointed.
